August 12, 2024: Norman Park, GA 31771 In Monday's non-league match, the host Colquitt County Packers softball team scored a tight 11-5 win over the Cairo Syrupmakers.
The Packers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Cook nipped Valdosta (Valdosta, GA), 12-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Syrupmakers battle the Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 13. Cairo will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Irwin County (Ocilla, GA).
