Georgia High School Softball - Bainbridge drops to Cairo
September 19, 2024: Cairo, GA 39828 Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA), 11-3 in a league game.
With the triumph, Cairo improves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Syrupmakers travel to Dougherty (Albany, GA) to play the Trojans in a 3A Region 1 game on Friday, September 20. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 1-15.
The Bearcats now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Seminole County for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 24. Bainbridge will play a Indians squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Westwood (Camilla, GA). The Indians record now stands at 11-6.
