Georgia High School Softball - Bainbridge succumbs to Thomas County Central
August 26, 2024: Thomasville, GA 31792 In Monday's non-league test, the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA), by a tally of 15-0.
Next, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) in a 5A Region 2 test, on Tuesday, August 27. Thomas County Central will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Warhawks go into the test with a 8-1 record after their 7-1 league win over Coffee (Douglas, GA).
The Bearcats (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Monroe (Albany, GA). The Golden Tornadoes go into the 3A Region 1 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Monroe was routed by Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 14-0, in a non-league test.
