In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Purvis Tornadoes volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Petal Panthers.

The Tornadoes (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against George County (Lucedale, MS). The Rebels enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last test, George County was defeated by Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poplarville for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14.
