The Gaston Day Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Covenant Day Lions to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 19. Gaston Day will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
