The Ashe County Huskies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host St. Stephens Indians to 1 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Rowan for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 20. Ashe County will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Draughn gained a win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
