August 21, 2025: Guthrie, OK 73044 Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK), 11-6 in a league match.
The Bluejays (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Western Heights (Oklahoma City, OK). The Jets come into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Western Heights was routed by Noble (Noble, OK), 12-2, in a non-league battle.
With the loss, El Reno moves to 2-6 on the season. The Indians host Midwest City (Midwest City, OK) to confront the Bombers in a 5A District 2 challenge on Monday, August 25. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Midwest City won 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Santa Fe South (Oklahoma City, OK)
