The R-S Central Hilltoppers held off the visiting Freedom Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hilltoppers now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crest for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 23. R-S Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Chargers record now stands at 2-1.

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, East Burke was nudged by Patton (Morganton, NC), 3-2, in a non-league test.
