In Monday's non-league contest, the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Hilltoppers battle the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 22. R-S Central will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
