Georgia High School Softball - Buford bounces River Ridge
August 22, 2025: Woodstock, GA 30188 In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Buford Wolves softball squad scored a close 9-2 triumph over the River Ridge Knights.
With the triumph, Buford upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Wolves travel to Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, August 23. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 5-2. Gordon Lee won 13-3 in their recent league match against Chattooga (Summerville, GA)
In their next game, the Knights confront the Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 22. River Ridge will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 16-5 league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA).
