Texas High School Volleyball - Poth over Gonzales
August 22, 2025: Gonzales, TX 78629 In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Poth Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Gonzales Apaches.
The Pirates (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Fayetteville was defeated by East Bernard (East Bernard, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Apaches now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brazos for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Gonzales will play a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-6.
