Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting The New Community School Sabers (Richmond, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA). The Minutemen come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Denbigh Baptist Christian edged James River HomeSchool (Chesterfield, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sabers meet the Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen (Newport News, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. The New Community School will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Minutemen go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over James River HomeSchool (Chesterfield, VA).
