In Friday's non-league match, the host Highway 6 Trailblazers softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the Hershey Panthers.

The Trailblazers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Lexington (Lexington, NE). The Minutemen come into the B District 9 match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Lexington was nipped by Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE), 10-1, in a non-league match.
