The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) and the host Blair Bears (Blair, NE), observed Gretna's softball team prevail over Blair by a tally of 13-0.

The Dragons (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Elkhorn South was routed by Millard West (Omaha, NE), 15-9, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 23. Blair will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
