In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Washburn Pirates volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Cherokee Chiefs.

With the win, Washburn improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Knoxville Trailblazers (Knoxville, TN) to face the Trailblazers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Trailblazers go into the test with a record of 1-1. Knoxville Trailblazers lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against First Baptist Academy (Powell, TN)

The Chiefs now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Happy Valley for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Cherokee will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Providence Academy (Johnson City, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
