Virginia High School Volleyball - North Cross New Covenant

August 24, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24018

New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, New Covenant improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Gryphons host Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA) to encounter the Ospreys in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Ospreys go into the test with a record of 0-1. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA)

The Raiders now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Craig County for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27.
