The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks volleyball squad (Charlottesville, VA), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA)

With the win, New Covenant improves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Gryphons host Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Temple Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA)

The Mavericks now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Cross for a VISAA Division 3 battle on Thursday, September 19.
