In Friday's league game, the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) football team were victorious over the visiting Blacklick Valley/United (Nanty Glo, PA), by a score of 28-6.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their game against River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Panthers come into the Heritage game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, River Valley was knocked off by Portage (Portage, PA), 40-6, in a league game.
