Georgia High School Softball - Dublin bounces Northeast
August 26, 2025: Macon, GA 31211 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Dublin Fighting Irish softball team scored a nice 17-9 win over the Northeast Raiders.
The Fighting Irish (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Gryphons come into the 1A D-I Region 2 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Academy for Classical Education was routed by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 8-5, in a league game.
The Raiders now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bleckley County for a 1A D-I Region 2 game on Thursday, August 28. Northeast will play a Royals squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Royals record now stands at 5-1.
