In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Northwestern Area Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Roncalli Cavaliers.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD). The Warbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Wolsey-Wessington beat Arlington (Arlington, SD), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers play the Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Roncalli will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pheasants come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Florence/Henry (Florence, SD).
