California High School Flag Football - Santa Barbara can't hold off Buena

The Buena Bulldogs got by the visiting Santa Barbara Dons flag football team by a score of 12-6 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Buena will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Royals go into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Northwood (Irvine, CA).

The Dons (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Cougars come into the Channel test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Ventura tipped Pacifica (Oxnard, CA), 46-14, in a league test.
