McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL), 50-0 in a league battle.

With the win, McGill-Toolen improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Theodore (Theodore, AL) to play the Bobcats in a 6A Region 1 battle on Friday, September 5. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Theodore won 28-17 in their recent league test against Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL)

With the defeat, Murphy drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Blount (Eight Mile, AL) to meet the Leopards in a 6A Region 1 test on Friday, September 5. The Leopards come into the test with a record of 0-2. Blount lost 46-0 in their recent league test against Saraland (Saraland, AL)
