Pennsylvania High School Football - New Brighton prevails Summit Academy
August 29, 2025: New Brighton, PA 15066 In Friday's non-league battle, the host New Brighton Lions football team scored a nice 42-14 win over the Summit Academy Knights.
With the win, New Brighton improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Flames in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Flames go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Northgate lost 49-6 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA)
The Knights now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Freedom Area for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Summit Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Rochester (Rochester, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
