In Friday's non-league match, the host Discovery Canyon Thunder softball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Ponderosa Mustangs.

The Thunder (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.
