Spectators at Monday's league contest between the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) and the host Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Lutheran's softball squad beat Discovery Canyon by a score of 10-0.

With the triumph, Lutheran improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Lions host Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO) to face the Rangers in a 4A Pikes Peak bout on Wednesday, September 17. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Lewis-Palmer lost 16-0 in their recent league bout against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)

In their next game, the Thunder clash with the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak bout, on Wednesday, September 17. Discovery Canyon will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Red-Tailed Hawks enter the contest with a 10-1 record after their 10-9 league win over Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO).
