Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Barrow improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Whalers travel to Valdez (Valdez, AK) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30.
