Texas High School Volleyball - Waltrip overwhelmed by Spring Woods
August 29, 2025: Houston, TX 77018 The Spring Woods Tigers topped the host Waltrip Rams volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league outing.
The Tigers now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sharpstown for a 5A Region III District 21 outing on Wednesday, September 3. Spring Woods will play a Apollos team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Milby (Houston, TX). The Apollos record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Waltrip drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Rams host Westbury (Houston, TX) to play the Huskies in a 5A Region III District 21 game on Wednesday, September 3. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 1-2. Westbury lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Austin (Houston, TX)
