In Friday's league test, the host Waltrip Rams volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Sterling Raiders.

With the win, Waltrip improves its record to 7-17 on the season. The Rams travel to Westbury (Houston, TX) to face the Huskies in a 5A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, October 7. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 5-11. Westbury lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Carnegie Vanguard (Houston, TX)

The Raiders now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carnegie Vanguard for a 5A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, October 7. Sterling will face a Rhinos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Westbury (Houston, TX). The Rhinos record now stands at 17-5.
