Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Waltrip improves its record to 8-18 on the season. The Rams travel to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a 5A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, October 14. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 20-14. Galena Park lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Spring Woods (Houston, TX)

Next, the Apollos meet the Westbury Huskies (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Sharpstown will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Madison (Houston, TX).
