In Saturday's non-league match, the Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) volleyball team held off the visiting Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN), by a margin of 2-1.

The Blackhawks now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Southern Wells for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. Cowan will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
