August 30, 2025: Geneseo, IL 61254 In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Eureka Hornets volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
With the win, Eureka advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Athens (Athens, IL) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-0. Athens won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Greenview (Greenview, IL)
Next, the Maple Leafs play the Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Geneseo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Red Storm come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL).
