August 31, 2023: Solon, IA 52333 Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 2. Solon will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Davenport West (Davenport, IA).
With the loss, Waverly-Shell Rock drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Go-hawks travel to Tipton (Tipton, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 2.
