September 2, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24015 Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), 5-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Southwest Virginia Academy moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Conquerors host North Cross (Roanoke, VA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-1. North Cross lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Seton (Manassas, VA)
The Chiefs now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host The Covenant for a NVIAC outing on Wednesday, September 3. Carlisle will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
