Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) and the visiting Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), saw Morrison's volleyball squad nudge Bureau Valley by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Morrison improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to encounter the Comets in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Newman Central Catholic won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Mendota (Mendota, IL)

Next, the Storm meet the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Bureau Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Clippers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL).
