Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Titans come into the Three Rivers challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Monmouth-Roseville beat Princeville (Princeville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastland for a Northwest Upstate Illini test on Thursday, September 25. Morrison will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 13-3.
