The Riverdale Rams topped the host Newman Central Catholic Comets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Rams face the Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) in a Three Rivers game, on Tuesday, September 23. Riverdale will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record. The Chargers come into the outing with a 8-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).

With the loss, Newman Central Catholic drops to 4-10 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Hall (Spring Valley, IL) to play the Red Devils in a Three Rivers outing on Tuesday, September 23. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 4-13. Hall lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Bede (Peru, IL)
