Texas High School Volleyball - Freeman crushed by El Campo

In Tuesday's non-league match, the El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) volleyball squad overcame the host Freeman Golden Eagles (Katy, TX), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Ricebirds battle the Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 match, on Friday, September 5. El Campo will attempt to move on its 14-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 20-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tidehaven (El Maton, TX).

The Golden Eagles (5-22) will now prepare for their match against Tomas (Richmond, TX). The enter the non-league match with a 3-19 record. In their last battle, Tomas achieved victory over Brazoswood (Clute, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
