September 3, 2024: Sterling, IL 61081 The Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Golden Warriors now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Geneseo for a Western Big 6 bout on Thursday, September 5. Sterling will clash with a Maple Leafs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Morton (Morton, IL). The Maple Leafs record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Lutheran drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to McHenry (McHenry, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-2. McHenry won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)
