Georgia High School Softball - Miller County bounces Bainbridge
September 4, 2024: Bainbridge, GA 39819 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Miller County Pirates softball team scored a nice 11-3 victory over the Bainbridge Bearcats.
The Pirates (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Pierce County was routed by Coffee (Douglas, GA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA) in a 3A Region 1 match, on Thursday, September 5. Bainbridge will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Golden Tornadoes go into the match with a 0-8 record after their 16-0 league loss to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA).
