September 4, 2024: Hazlehurst, GA 31539 The Jeff Davis Yellowjackets softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Vidalia Indians to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berrien for a 1A D-I Region 1 battle on Thursday, September 5. Jeff Davis will confront a Rebels team coming off a 7-3 league loss to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Vidalia moves to 5-9 on the season. The Indians host Social Circle (Social Circle, GA) to confront the Redskins in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Redskins come into the battle with a record of 10-2. Social Circle won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Jasper County (Monticello, GA)
