The A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) volleyball overcame the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league match.

Next up, the Wonders battle the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A match, on Tuesday, September 9. A.L. Brown will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record.

The Vikings (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals enter the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Berry notched a victory over Harding University (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
