North Carolina High School Volleyball - Central Cabarrus overwhelmed by Cox Mill

Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Cox Mill improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Chargers host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to face the Ragin' Bulls in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A test on Thursday, September 4. The Ragin' Bulls go into the test with a record of 7-2. Hickory Ridge won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)

The Vikings now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host A.L. Brown for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A test on Thursday, September 4. Central Cabarrus will face a Wonders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 5-3.
