The Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 16-0 record. They play next when they host North Stanly for a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. Cox Mill will battle a Comets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Comets record now stands at 11-9.

Next, the Vikings battle the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Central Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record.
