The Katy Taylor Mustangs volleyball team (Katy, TX), was tipped 2-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting College Station Cougars (College Station, TX)

The Cougars (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Kingwood Park got by Tarkington (Cleveland, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 test, on Friday, September 5. Katy Taylor will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 15-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Katy (Katy, TX).
