The Cypress Springs Panthers felled the visiting Alief Taylor Lions football team by a score of 35-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Jersey Village Falcons (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Cypress Springs will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 40-16 non-league loss to Langham Creek (Houston, TX).

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX). The Broncos go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Fort Bend Bush was dropped by Katy Taylor (Katy, TX), 26-3, in a non-league challenge.
