The Gray Stone Day Knights volleyball squad (Misenheimer, NC), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC)

With the win, North Stanly improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Comets host South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to encounter the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the battle with a record of 6-1.
