Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) and the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), observed Winchester Community's volleyball team top Union County by a count of 3-0.

The Golden Falcons (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Monroe Central was knocked off by Cowan (Muncie, IN), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles (Cambridge City, IN) in a Tri-Eastern contest, on Thursday, September 12. Union County will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record.
