Michigan High School Football - Montrose trounces Birch Run

In Friday's league match, the visiting Montrose Rams football squad scored a decisive 42-0 win over the Birch Run Panthers.

With the win, Montrose improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rams host Durand (Durand, MI) to play the Railroaders in a Mid-Michigan battle on Friday, September 12. The Railroaders go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Durand won 40-33 in their recent league battle against New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI)

The Panthers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Morris for a Mid-Michigan test on Friday, September 12. Birch Run will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 43-6 league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
