The Hoover Buccaneers football team (Hoover, AL), dropped 34-26 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL)

The Patriots (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Rebels enter the 7A Region 3 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Vestavia Hills was outscored by Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 28-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) in a 7A Region 3 contest, on Friday, September 12. Hoover will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 28-14 league win over Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL).
