The Thoreau Hawks topped the host Bernalillo Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Hawks confront the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 6. Thoreau will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).

With the loss, Bernalillo drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6.
